Hurricane Earl in Atlantic is getting stronger to category 4 hurricane with sustained winds of 115 knots  or 132 miles per hour.and it is probably hitting New York/New jersey in next few days.

Diaspora* a new social networking site killer of facebook

Student of NYU has developed a new social networking site Diaspora* which is being said to be a killer of facebook. New idea behind Diaspora is distributed social networking. It means that data of  a user is not centric to one server, there will be distributed individual servers which will be hosting their own version of Diaspora*.Diaspora* is open source project so probably geeks at start would be hosting their own version of this social networking site. The project is said to be rolled out in October.
